I put him in the little kiddie pool and he cried at first. But he got used to it and he loved it. He was splashing and playing with toys and crawled in there a little too. He is so dang cute. I love this little boy so much. It's funny how each new phase is just as exciting with the third baby as it is with the first.
Even though each kid is so unique, it's hard not to compare them. Ryker and Reese are very different.
Reese is really mellow and is usually in her own world. She's completely content to hang out by herself. She's definitely a free spirit. She is also my little helper, especially with Dax. She's a little mama in the making.
Ryker is so so creative. There's not another person I know that has as big of an imagination as he does. He's also a perfectionist. If he has his mind set on something, it's going to happen, no matter what. He doesn't think twice about standing up for himself (I really like that about him). And if you make him mad, watch out.
Let me give an example on how they're different. When Reese colors, she uses one color (usually pink) and scribbles all over the page. When Ryker colors he uses the appropriate color for what he's coloring and stays in the lines. Then he gets mad at Reese for not staying in the lines. It drives him crazy.

Dax is a monster. And he is so sweet at the same time. I love this stage. He's so happy all the time, especially when I'm holding him. When I get him in the mornings he is so excited that he kicks his legs and squeals and then smacks his lips together because it's time to eat. I love it.
He is noticebly different from Ryker already. For example, when Ryker was a baby he was afraid of the vacuum. I can't really blame him because it was kind of broken and really loud. Dax on the other hand chases the vacuum. He hears it running and he is on a mission. He gets his eye on the vacuum and he's after it.

Excellent descriptions of Reese and Ryker. I seem to remember Ryker telling Reese and Kinley that they weren't done finger painting because their pictures didn't look like anything. And what's the latest on Dax's crawling? Was it just a one time thing? Or is he crawling like crazy now?
Go Dax! Good Job. Today Gabe said "Don't I have cousin named Rikey?" I told him that his name is Riker and Gabe said "I miss my Rikey". So funny
I can't believe he finally crawled. How old is he again? It seems so early. He sure is cute. They all are. I need to call you and I get Lucy on the trail ride! Sorry!!
